All silos are totally watertight with a tight lid, preventing water entry, in turn it also prevents any type of foraging activities caused by insects, micro-organisms and animals as the can’t enter. The feed therefore is also preserved from outbreaks, such as salmonella and fungi.
The silos are made of high quality steel with an innovative protective layer, offering superb resistance levels. This protective layer, made of zinc, aluminium and magnesium, is up to 10 times more resistant to environmental corrosion than traditional galvanising.
