We have just been informed that we have received the Aragon Social Responsibility Certificacion after having completed the process of the Aragon Social Responsibility Plan

During 2022 we have renewed our Social Responsibility Certification granted by the Government of Aragon, considering that the RSC should be a pillar in the business culture of our organization.

Exafan is a company rooted in the territory, with a work methodology that is very respectful of the environment, being a benchmark within the agricultural sector, being able to build and equip, in an integral way, any type of livestock farm, our respect for the environment is our main asset, since we support companies and farms to make livestock more efficient and respectful of the environment.

 

Exafan's commitment is not limited to the environment, but is based on 6 basic principles:

1.- TRANSPARENCY To be an exemplary and transparent organization in the exercise of its activity. With an inexcusable compliance with the law, which implies the obligation without exception to comply with the legislation and internal regulations that, in each case, is applicable to the activities of the Company. To this end, a robust Corporate Governance structure will be promoted to ensure professionalism and integrity in decision-making and in its actions.

2.- SUSTAINABILITY Actively incorporate environmental, social and Good Governance criteria into the company's processes, products and services, taking into account the impacts it generates on society and, therefore, on the community in which it operates. Contribute in this way to the sustainability of the organization itself and to the development of the societies in which they are practiced. A dialogue is established with the interlocutors and commitments are acquired with our interest groups.

3.- RESPECT FOR EMPLOYEES Promote at all times professional relationships based on respect for the dignity of others, collaboration, equity and communication, which foster a good professional environment. Carry out actions for:

  • Promote the reconciliation of personal, family and work life
  • Promote safety, health and hygiene at work, in accordance with the legislation on occupational risk prevention and the best practices in the matter.
  • Ensure a work environment free of harassment in any of its manifestations (work, sexual and/or for reasons of sex).
  • Procure the labor integration of people with disabilities or handicaps, eliminating all kinds of barriers in the field of the company for their insertion.
  • Promote the effective application of equality between women and men, guaranteeing the same opportunities for income and professional development in the workplace.
  • Recognize the rights of association, union and collective negotation.
  • Promote the development, training and professional promotion of employees.
  • Link the remuneration and promotion of employees to their conditions of merit and capacity.

4.- EXCELLENCE IN MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER ORIENTATION Betting on excellence in management and continuous improvement to provide the best services to our customers based on a relationship of trust and credibility. The actions with our clients are based on:

  • Offer customers products or services that suit their characteristics and needs.
  • Clarity in the marketing of products so that the customer understands their content, benefits, risks and costs.
  • Seek the excellence of the company's goods and services so that its customers and consumers obtain the satisfaction expected from them.
  • Guarantee the products and services of the company and respond quickly and efficiently to the claims of consumers and users.
  • Do not offer benefits or advantages to some customers to the detriment of others.

 

5.- RELATIONSHIP WITH SUPPLIERS For all people in the company and specifically for those involved in the selection or decision on the contracting of supplies or services or the negotiation of rates or other conditions, a relationship with suppliers is required ethical and responsible, avoiding any interference that may affect impartiality in this matter. In this sense, actions aimed at:

  • Seek and select only suppliers whose business practices respect human dignity, do not break the law and do not jeopardize the company's reputation.
  • Select suppliers based on the suitability of their products or services, as well as their price, delivery conditions and quality, not accepting or offering gifts or commissions, in cash or in kind, that may alter the rules of free competition in the production and distribution of goods and services.

 

 

6.- RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT Respect for the environment is encouraged through the implementation of actions related to the control and responsible consumption of natural resources, the minimization of environmental impact, or the promotion of clean technologies, among others. Among the measures, the following are promoted:

  • Actions aimed at the prevention and management of environmental aspects: the fight against air pollution, water pollution, soil and groundwater contamination, noise pollution, prevention and correct waste management, etc.
  • Biodiversity protection measures that ensure environmental quality, especially to act on the emission of greenhouse gases.
