Weaning
Piglets are usually weaned from the moment they leave the sow until about 8-11 weeks of age. They are organised into pens that are capable of housing them throughout this period. The houses are climate controlled, with dynamic ventilation, heating and cooling. The piglets are housed in groups, that have feed and water troughs suited to their growth and floors that can be partially or fully slatted.
